OLYMPIA, WA. – November 30, 2022 – For the fifth year in a row, NW Momentum Health Partners (NWMHP) Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and its Participating Providers have achieved Shared Savings, grossing over $26.5 million in total savings to Medicare in 2021, the final year of the Next Generation ACO Model. NWMHP ACO providers also achieved a quality score of 89.25%, demonstrating their continued commitment to providing the highest value of care to their patients.
The Next Generation ACO Model was launched in 2016 by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The Model allowed NWMHP ACO to set predictable financial targets, enabled providers and beneficiaries’ greater opportunities to coordinate care, and aimed to attain the highest quality standards of care.
